This Privacy Policy explains how Arnold L. Lopez Jr., a sole proprietor doing business as arnoldsgrooves ("I," "me," or "my"), collects and uses information through arnoldsgroovesofficial.com (the "Site").
1. Information I Collect
· Information you provide: your name, email address, and any details you enter when you request a free resource, purchase a product, book a one-on-one session, register for or participate in a live program, cohort, or workshop, or contact me.
· Career and session information: information you choose to share about your career background, goals, and questions through booking forms, intake questions, email, or during live programs and sessions.
· Payment information: when you buy a product, program, or session, payment is handled by Squarespace Payments and its payment partners (which may include providers such as Klarna for buy-now-pay-later, digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and the card networks shown at checkout). I do not receive or store your full card number. I may receive limited transaction details such as your name, email, order amount, and confirmation.
· Automatically collected information: like most websites, my Site (through Squarespace and Squarespace Analytics) may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring pages.
2. How I Collect Information
Directly from you (through forms, checkout, booking and registration, email, and live sessions) and automatically through Squarespace's built-in analytics and cookies.
3. How I Use Information
· To deliver free resources and fulfill product purchases
· To schedule, prepare for, and deliver one-on-one sessions, live programs, cohorts, and workshops
· To process payments and provide customer support
· To send email updates and marketing (see Section 5)
· To understand how the Site is used and improve it
· To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations
4. Cookies and Analytics
My Site uses cookies and similar technologies through Squarespace to operate the Site and measure traffic via Squarespace Analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the Site works.
5. Email Marketing
If you request a free resource or otherwise subscribe, you may be added to my email list and receive occasional updates about careers, leadership, operations, and my products, programs, and sessions. I use MailerLite to manage and send these emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
6. Payment Processing
Purchases are processed by Squarespace Payments and its associated payment partners (which may include Klarna, digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, and the major card networks). Your payment is subject to those providers' own privacy policies, which I encourage you to review.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
I share information only as needed with providers that help me operate the Site and deliver my services: Squarespace (hosting, analytics, checkout, and payment processing through Squarespace Payments and its payment partners), MailerLite (email), Zoom (video conferencing for live programs and sessions), and the scheduling tool I use to book sessions. These providers process information on my behalf and are expected to protect it. I do not sell your personal information.
8. Live Programs and Session Recordings
Live programs and one-on-one sessions are hosted by video conference. I do not record one-on-one sessions unless we agree in advance. If a group program is recorded, I will tell participants before recording begins. Information you share during a session is used only to provide that session or program and is not shared publicly.
9. International Users
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
10. Data Retention
I keep information for as long as needed to provide products and services, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. You may ask me to delete your information (see Section 12), subject to records I am required to keep.
11. Data Security
I use reasonable measures and rely on the security of providers like Squarespace (including Squarespace Payments), MailerLite, and Zoom to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your Privacy Choices and California Rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can contact me to access, correct, or delete personal information I hold about you.
California residents: California law gives residents certain rights regarding their personal information. You may request information about the categories of personal information collected and how it is used, and you may request deletion, subject to legal exceptions. To make a request, contact me at the email below. I will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
13. "Do Not Track" Signals
Some browsers can send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to them, my Site does not currently respond to them.
14. Children's Privacy
The Site, products, programs, and sessions are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.
15. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and I will update the "Last Updated" date above.
